评审委员会

　　「2010香港最佳新闻奖」评审委员会由四十多人组成。每组评审委员专业及非专业的比例为3 : 2。大会将继续邀请各大学、大专校长、商会会长及传媒专业人士担任评审委员。

　 深入及详尽报道事件之来龙去脉，能平衡各方面的观点，全面剖析问题所在和引进新观点。

　 In-depth reporting, demonstrating an ability to present conflicting viewpoints in a balanced manner, analyse
      the issues comprehensively and introduce new ideas.

评审程序

1. 秘书处在截止日期前收集「香港最佳新闻奖」报名表格及参赛作品。
2. 秘书处审阅报名表格及参赛作品，必须符合本会参赛要求。不符合参赛资格者，秘书处要求参赛报馆作出修改及调整。
3. 秘书处分别包装文字组参赛作品及派送给各评委。
4. 秘书处在截止日期前向评委收回计分表，用电脑计算各参赛者的总分，就是每组5位评委标尺分总计。将总分由高至低排序得出作品名次分别为冠军、亚军、季军及优异奖。
5. 图片组的评审程序：秘书处制作图片集，派送给5位评委进行评审。各评委会分别选出6份作品。最后，在「评审日」评委选出得奖作品。以1分至5分为评选分数，5分为最高分，1分为最低分。评委不断作出筛选，以得分最高的作品为冠军，其他以分数高低选出亚军、季军及优异奖的得主。
6. 设计组的评审程序：秘书处在「评审日」当天展出所有参赛的作品，5位评委即场选出得奖作品。
7. 主席评判审批及核准所有得奖作品，尤其获得相同分数作品，由主席评判作出裁决。
8. 秘书处会在「评审日」公布得奖的名单，在下午通知各报馆。
