評審委員會

　　「2007年香港最佳新聞獎」評審委員會由四十五人組成。 由現任大學、大專院校校長、商會會長及資深傳媒專業人士擔任評審委員會委員。 每組評判專業及非專業的比例為3 : 2。

評分方法：

最佳新聞報道 Best News Reporting、最佳經濟新聞報道 Best Business News Reporting、最佳科學新聞報道 Best Science News Reporting及最佳新人獎 Best Young Reporter
‧ 組織結構 [10%]：
　 文章結構嚴謹、表達清晰。

　 Well-organised with clear presentation.

‧ 文字技巧 [15%]：
　 遣辭造句恰當、文字流暢。
‧ Writing Skills [15%]：

‧ 報道全面 [30%]：
　 深入及詳盡報道事件之來龍去脈，能平衡各方面的觀點，全面剖析問題所在和引進新觀點。
‧ Comprehensiveness [30%]：
　 In-depth reporting, demonstrating an ability to present conflicting viewpoints in a balanced manner, analyse
      the issues comprehensively and introduce new ideas.

‧ 專業水準 [45%]：
　 新聞之重要性、影響性、時效性、文章內容及選材創見、獨家報道、能包含第一手研究資料、
　 消息來源可靠。
‧ Professional Standards [45%]：
　 The news is significant in terms of social importance, impact and timeliness, is a scoop based on credible
      sources and demonstrates originality in the research and selection of contents.

　 深入及詳盡報道事件之來龍去脈，能平衡各方面的觀點，全面剖析問題所在和引進新觀點。
‧ Comprehensiveness [20%]：
　 In-depth reporting, demonstrating an ability to present conflicting viewpoints in a balanced manner, analyse
      the issues comprehensively and introduce new ideas.

評審程序

1. 秘書處在截止日期前收集「香港最佳新聞獎」報名表格及參賽作品。
2. 秘書處審閱報名表格及參賽作品，必須符合本會參賽要求。不符合參賽資格者，秘書處要求參賽報館作出修改及調整。
3. 秘書處分別包裝文字組參賽作品及派送給各評審委員。
4. 秘書處在截止日期前向評審委員收回計分紙，用電腦計算各參賽者的總分(即5位評審委員的總分數)。最高分者為冠軍，順序為亞軍、季軍及優異獎。
5. 圖片組的評審程序：秘書處製作圖片集，派送給5位評審委員進行評審。各評審委員會分別選出7份作品。最後，在「評審日」評審委員選出得獎作品。以1分至5分為評選分數，5分為最高分，1分為最低分。評審委員不斷作出篩選，以得分最高的作品為冠軍，其他以分數高低選出亞軍、季軍及優異獎的得主。
6. 設計組的評審程序：秘書處在「評審日」當天展出所有參賽的作品，5位評審委員即場選出得獎作品。
7. 主席評判審批及核准所有得獎作品，尤其獲得相同分數作品，由主席評判作出裁決。
8. 秘書處會在「評審日」公布得獎的名單，在下午通知各報館。
