香港最佳新闻奖是本会每年举办的主要活动，旨在嘉许业内杰出新闻工作者的成就和提升业界的专业水平。今届设有四个组别共七十八个奖项，奖项包括：
The annual Hong Kong News Awards is a major activity organised by The Newspaper Society of Hong Kong. The competition is aimed at recognising the outstanding achievements of journalists and raising professional standards. The following awards are given:

参赛资格 Participation Eligibility
参赛报章必须为香港发行的中文或英文印刷报章，一周至少出版五天或以上(因公众假期或特殊原因停刊除外)。参赛详情请细阅参赛细则。
Only Chinese-language or English-language print dailies that regularly publish in Hong Kong for at least five days a week (except public holidays and special occasions) are allowed to join the contest. Please read the rules and regulations for more details.
