　　As an international business and financial centre, Hong Kong must keep abreast of the latest developments in the ever-changing global political and economic arenas.

This has brought enormous challenges to the men and women in the news industry whose reputation depends not only on the speed of news reporting but, more importantly, on its accuracy. I am pleased that many of our most influential journalists and news organisations go the extra mile in uploading the highest professional standards in their quest for the truth.
