评审委员会

　　「2012年香港最佳新闻奖」评审委员会由五十多人组成。每组评审委员专业及非专业的比例为3 : 2。大会将继续邀请各大学、大专校长、商会会长及传媒专业人士担任评审委员。

评审程序

1. 秘书处在截止日期前收集「香港最佳新闻奖」报名表格及参赛作品。
2. 秘书处审阅报名表格及参赛作品，必须符合本会参赛要求。不符合参赛资格者，秘书处要求参赛报馆作出修正及调整。
3. 秘书处分别包装文字组参赛作品及派送给各评委。
4. 秘书处在截止日期前向评委收回评分表，用电脑计算各参赛者的总分，就是每组5位评委标尺分总计。将总分由高至低排序得出作品名次分别为冠军、亚军、季军及优异奖。
5. 图片组的评审程序：秘书处制作参赛作品图片集，派送给5位评委。各评委分别选出6份作品。最后，於「评审日」评委选出得奖作品。以1分至5分为评选分数，5分为最高分，1分为最低分。评委不断作出筛选，以得分最高的作品为冠军，其他以分数高低选出亚军、季军及优异奖的得主。
6. 设计组的评审程序：秘书处在「评审日」展出所有参赛的作品，5位评委即场选出得奖作品。
7. 秘书处於「评审日」公布得奖的名单，并在下午通知各报馆。
